Main Line Art & Design artist announced as finalist for LOUIE Awards
The Annual LOUIE Awards celebrate the best in greeting card designs. Every year greeting card companies from around the world submit designs to the Greeting Card Association to be considered for the award. A panel of judges then choose three finalists based on impact, design excellence, originality, and several other factors.
This year one of Jill Meyer’s Hanukkah holiday card designs has been selected as a finalist in the LOUIE Awards Religious Celebrations category. Jill Meyer has licensed her art with Main Line Art & Design for four years and specializes in on trend and timely designs. Meyer said of the nomination, “It’s been a lovely turn of events—one that I hoped would someday happen, but never dared to think would.”
Finalists for all the categories of the LOUIE Awards will be displayed from May 21-24 at the National Stationary Show in New York City, and the 2017 LOUIE Award winners will be announced on May 21 at a gala event.
Julie LaDow, owner of Main Line Art & Design, is proud to see Meyer’s work honored in such a way. “It’s a testament to Jill’s eye for emerging trends” said LaDow. Main Line Art & Design has been in business since 2011 and represents a select group of artists, working with various manufacturers to bring their designs to wall decor, home accent, and the gift industry.
